  4. Any more or less you can be sure this did not come from a ModemNews
  5. NewsStand.  Please be aware that some other BBS's have been adding
  6. their own files to our archives and that we are on top of the problem
  7. both legally and publicly.

  19. open the compressed file called ADDITION.ZIP. In it, you will find some
  20. help files, some general informational files and some sample BBS DOOR
  21. batch files (If you are a SysOp and would like to run ModemNews online
  22. for your callers.)

  44. You SHOULD disable some of our new features for online viewing.  Please
  45. use the following command line to do so;

  47.                       NEWS46 /0   <--that's a ZERO

  49. This will disable any present or future functions in ModemNews that may
  50. affect the way the magazine works with your BBS program and door
  51. handlers.  This will also bring your readers directly to PageOne when
  52. they begin, and skip all of the closing screens when they are finished
  53. reading, thus saving a great deal of online time.
  54.  
  55. We strongly recommend that you use the command line option.  We have
  56. tested the magazine under Doorway without the command line and it has
  57. functioned properly, but, to be sure, please use it.
